Fahrenheit 911 : FIRST (mini)-REVIEW!!!
From Aint it cool news:

Our first mini-review of Michael Moore's FAHRENHEIT 911!!!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the first review I've seen on Michael Moore's much anticipated election year film, FAHRENHEIT 911... Now, my Republican friends might not want to dip down into this review... not that I'd expect any Republican readers to have any real interest in a Michael Moore flick, other than to call the dude names... but if you do, don't be surprised to find an unapologeticly hardcore Conservative bashing shining review. I, for one, can't wait to see what Moore uncovered. Based on his book, DUDE, WHERE'S MY COUNTRY, I'm sure us anti-Bush people will have a lot of material to steam over. Considering the news of torture and abuse by US soldiers has finally been brought to light, I can't think of a better time for a documentary like this. Dammit, Jim! It's time for "Bones" to pump some liberal anger onto the page!

Harry,

******

"Can't reveal my source but they saw Moore's FAHRENHEIT 911 the other night. Let's just say it was for legal reasons and leave it at that. The review? Brilliant. Hilarious. And creepy freakin' scary! Like THE NIGHTSTALKER with Moore as Kolchak ( ...for the kids out there that don't get the reference CLICK HERE!!!) only the vampire cover-up isn't in Vegas, it's the White House. Bush will burn in hell for this and the evidence of his blood-sucking corporate-worship is all there in the movie. A flip-flopping liar and incompetent leader, Bush and his corrupt administration are revealed in all their inglorious ugliness. Moore goes into the history of the Bush family and the long ties to the Saudi royalty and their oil empire (nothing new here, Republican Kevin Phillips documents it as well in his book, "AMERICAN DYNASTY") to set up how these bastards have sold America down a river of oil. If you've seen BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE you'll understand that Moore can make you laugh and cry at the same time and this film is going to deliver lots of entertainment mixed with the politics and history. FAHRENHEIT 911 is going to be released despite a brutal fight from the Bush-toadies at Disney and in the media. But hey, I think the resulting publicity will drive more people into the theaters to see it. Let's hope.

If you use this, just use my usual nomme de plume, "Bones"."

1. It will be interesting to see how Moore plays it
There's more humor in playing them as incompetent dopes; which means he may not come out in favor of LIHOP. I mean her certainly is arguing (at least as far as I know) that the Bush administration is too closly tied to the Saudi Royal Family; but, and this is a big but, does that prove LIHOP? Or is it just a blind spot for President Bush?

I don't know--I am anxious to see the final product.

2. I think this may be the most important film....ever.
If Moore presents the information like he's done in his past works, it can't help but knock the socks off the uninformed voters out there. We live in a visual media society today. Many take what they see in this media as the "truth". What we've read and discussed here has not really made it to the general population. Case, in point, 9/11. What major studio or broadcast network has even attempted to address the whole story of 9/11? No one. The single greatest attack in America, ever, and it has been completely ignored by the corporate media.

So I think this will hit those that don't really understand what happened on 9/11 like a 2x4 upside the head. It's going to be impossible to refute the facts as I'm sure Moore will present them.

I suspect that he'll spend a lot of time on Bush's actions in the schoolroom while the attack was underway and it will explain quite clearly why Bush couldn't testify in public, alone, and under oath in front of the 9/11 commission.

3. The only problem is...
That Michael has set a precident by blurring the line between fact and fiction for dramatic effect at times during his movies.

All it takes is one example (however isolated) to give someone like Hannity or Rush a reason to spend hours talking about how evil and FOS Moore is.

This movie will be discredited in the mainstream media before it even comes out.

I doubt it will have much of an effect because people will believe what they want to believe, and undecided's won't be able to accept that it's possible that Bush's history is this ugly. And the mainstream media will give those people enough of a reason to doubt Michael Moore.

Don't count on this being the "smoking gun" that ends Bush's career...

~sad to say.
