Anybody watched Hillary interview on C-Span after the hearing?
She said the hearing created more questions than it answered.

Now Warner...eeeewwwwwwwwwww!!! what an idiot.

Frist...eeeewwwwwwwww!!!! Important hearing. World needs to understand that we are looking for the facts and asking the right questions. The armed services committee is going to provide leadership. eeeeewwwwww!

3. Can the secretary still be effective (asked of Wagner)
I know Rumsfeld very well, in my judgment he is wonderful, wonderful, and answered forthrightly to tough questions.
His service is up to the president.
Frist: nobody has all of the facts or information.
A disservice to have premature or knee jerk reaction (in respect to Rummy).
This question is subjective (Wagner)
I am going to support MY PRESIDENT ON THESE DECISIONS.

4. Wagner: more stuff coming up: movies, pictures and SOUND
to accompany the movies.
We will continue to pursue the evidence, so long that we are not jeopardizing in any way the judicial system.
How does this affect the American people's perception? Frist: American people expect us to follow the information in a THOUGHTFUL manner. People will respect that.

5. Frist saying Americans will have even more respect for the
soldiers and all they have achieved in Iraq after the information is analyzed and processed.

6. Now Levin. He is glad that Rumsfeld finally apologized, even though
the president only apologized through the king of Jordan.

He cannot believe that Rumsfeld said that only the photos could indicate how bad it was. he says the Tabuga report is very explicit about how widespread the effort to have those questionable actions being performed.

It is contrary to the pictures themselves, that indicate this is a methodical action to obtain information.

Geneva convention question: it applies except to the AlQaida people.

He recently had said that the conventions did not apply but people would be treated as though the Geneva convention applied. It is a change, welcome change in their position.

7. Levin about Rumsfeld resignation: if it would change the policies
of the administration he would be all for it but he doubts that the mismanagement would change if Rumsfeld is gone.

8. If Wolfowitz takes over it would not be any improvement.
He also wants to know what the transfer over to Iraqis really means.

Levin: the administration has been secretive in general with all kinds of information, this is not an exception.

Question: Guantanamo. The supreme court is hearing about this.

The President called the Geneva convention "legalese" setting the wrong tone.

Rumsfeld's unwillingness to believe these actions were encouraged is disturbing. Evidence that they were encouraged. he is not very objective to judge info in the Tacuba report.

9. Levin nor others in congress have seen the movies or the other
pictures.

These are not spontaneous actions from individuals, they seem to be methodical and organized. People assisting the ones conducting the abuse.
