Florida elections officials have told local supervisors to begin purging their voter rolls of felons - an election-year directive that some say would disenfranchise up to 40,000 people. Here we go again guys! http://www.tallahassee.com/mld/tallahassee/news/8608624.htm

The Busheviks have already won there, I think.
Now does this mean Flordians should give up? NEVER!

3. Is there anyway to get a copy of the Repug list in florida and |
|
send it via email and make it appear to come from the shitheads office. Wouldn't it be great if they purged most of the repugs by mistake. I'm not condoning a crime, just wondering out loud.

4. Tallahassee is such a lovely place to live... |
|
and so liberal. Then there is Darth Bush and the Imperial Storm Troopers (i.e. legislative pukes) down the street. I can hear his breathing from my house.
I am hoping there is not a felon with my same name or I am liable to get purged. I am actually quite worried about this: will I be disenfranchised because I am a registered Democrat?

5. You don't have to have the same name they purged similar |
|
names in 2000. Thats right if your name was smith and your first inital was j then if a fellon was on the lis as j. smith then you got purged but only from the democratic roles. Fair and balanced huh?

6. I was just watching "Unprecedented" on Sundance today |
|
They were showing the rolls. All people removed were black - it was marked next to the name. The date of the indictment was sometimes in...20007! DBT was told to not mind the middle innitials, Sr, Jr or other details like that. The presumption of innocence was turned upside down. Still, many of the victims didn't bother to vote in 2002, so...

7. They still were purged in 2002. For some reason, the NAACP |
|
agreed to settle the suit if the fixes were put in place but it didn't have to be done before the 2002 election.

8. Look at it this way... |
|
just chalk florida up to Smirky and get out the vote for Kerry in all the other states. If Florida keeps doing this there won't be anyone left allowed to vote in several years. :dunce:

10. This varies from state to state |
|
In Florida, convicted felons are permanently disenfranchised.
Personally, I think this makes no sense. If a law is bad, its victims are prevented from executing a form of redress.

but if it's the law in FL, what's wrong with purging from the voter rolls. I'm confused.
