bush*'s "apology"....
he appeared in two 10 minute broadcasts where he "denounced" the torture, but didn't apologize

the next day he said that he "apologized" to the King Abdullah of Jordan (behind closed doors)...

what do you think -- is this a sufficient and sincere apology or damage control?

-- the broadcasts were in an interview format, so he didn't speak directly to the the Iraqis, and only denounced the torture

-- he supposedly apologized to King Abdullah, behind closed doors -- if we didn't hear the apology, the Iraqis didn't hear the apology and certainly the Jordonian people didn't hear the apology -- then was it really an apology? And why the apology to King Abdullah and not directly to the Iraqi people? What does apologizing to King Abdullah have to do with torture in Iraq?

1. "Interviews" a sham
Al Hurra is US-owned propoganda channel. Al Arabiya is Saudi-owned same. Basically Dumbya "interviewed" himself!

2. "What does apologizing to King Abdullah have to do with torture in Iraq?"
I was asking myself the same question.

Delusional, all of them, delusional. :puke:

4. UK news
(well, channel 4 news, which is really the only decent news program there is except Sky News, which has really boring reporters on it) attacked Bush the day the interviews came out.

Said that he was using it as propaganda...

IMO, all dicators use propaganda.
