I like the way Russia swears in its leaders
In today's paper there is a photo of Putin's hand on the Russian Constitution as he, supposedly, is taking an oath to uphold it.

Wouldn't it be nice if our elected presidents did so, instead of the family bible? Or, at least, make the bible an exception?

1. The whole bible thing is an abomination.....
I think that its wrong and it doesn't "guarantee" anything.
I would much rather prefer seeing the president elect placing his
hand on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. That's what truly
represents this country.
