3. My letter to J Kerry today
Senator Kerry,
If you want to win this election, you are going to have to quit listening to your handlers and start listening to We the People who want our country back. We are
not voting for your strategists. We are voting for you. Forget all the bunk the DLC is giving you because, if the race is truly for the undecided voters, guess what? If people have not decided in 4 years that they are being used and abused, playing too conservative is not going to change their minds.

Your real power is in the people. I am a moderate democrat but you have got to quit letting people let you play politics with something as important as this election.
We the people know it is not Politics as usual and if you lose this, we won't have a republic nor a democracy left by 2008. I am a Kerry supporter but I promised that I would hold your feet to the fire of the true democratic platform. You will have to make decisions, right or wrong and stand by them no matter what. Forget the polls, forget the Bush people's paid critics and find your footing and find it fast ! Don't talk to the people. Talk WITH the people.

You took on Nixon in 71. You are going to have to remember we are the Party of the People. The tired, the poor, the downtrodden. As the wife of a combat Vietnam vet, when I speak, I speak with passion. I think you know that passion and heart and TRUE conviction is winnable. Otherwise, the phony republicans with their phony compassionate conservatism will walk away with it.
I cannot stand Nader. People you could have in your hand will vote Nader because you have chosen not to be a populist. Go back to the grassroots. Go back. It is the only way to win ! Quit defending the service and purple heart issue. Get tough on Bush. I disagree about positive. Go negative on these war criminals. Tell people the truth about just what is happening here. We have to take America back and America will be taken back or fall as the Roman Empire.
I am an activist and not a Deaniac, but you are going to have to convince me that you believe in what you are talking about ! I have my hand on the pulse of America. I am not running for President. You need to start recording your speeches and listen to how shallow they are coming off. I heard you speak twice. I put out a CD called Take it Back in 2004. A narration. I had people wanting to put my name on the ballot. All it takes is passion and a plan. Let the strategists work on the plan, you work on the passion

THE WELL WHERE A BABY JUST FELL
OR A STAR WHO JUST TOTALED HER CAR
OR A CAD, FAMOUS FOR BEING BAD
THAT’S INFOTAINMENT!

THE WAR IS A BORE SO THEY HAVE TO DISTRACT
THEY WILL FILL THE BILL WITH A MODEL THAT’S STACKED
THEY’RE NOT CONCERNED ABOUT FACTS
THEY’RE THERE TO KEEP YOU HAPPY

25. He must know him well enough to realize Rush's is going to be after him
until he passes out from screeching so loudly.

Having someone that admired and respected take a stand against Rush will both enrage and excite Rush! It'll drive him insane, trying to take time from his busy day, raging against John ("the French-looking") Kerry, long enough to savage Bill Moyers.

Busy, busy Rush. Good for Bill Moyers.

At 00:11:15 you say,

".. not for our gain, but for the betterment of humanity. That’s why this nation has been looked upon as a shining example of all that is good in the world .."

Sorry, I mistook the "humanity" for mankind. Still, a little over the top - imo.

Pentagon was warned in 2002 of contractors
Abuse scandal includes use of private interrogatorsThe Associated Press
Updated: 8:07 a.m. ET May 07, 2004WASHINGTON - A year before the Iraq invasion, the then-Army secretary warned his Pentagon bosses that there was inadequate control of private military contractors, which are now at the heart of controversies over misspending and prisoner abuse.

The author of that memo, retired Army chief Thomas White, told The Associated Press that the recent events show the Pentagon has a long way to go to fix the problems he identified in March 2002.
(snip)

In a sign of continued problems with the tracking of contracts, Pentagon officials on Thursday acknowledged they have yet to identify which Army entity manages the multimillion-dollar contract for interrogators like the one accused in the Iraq prisoner abuse probe.

20,000 contractors in Iraq

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld also acknowledged his department hasn’t completed rules to govern the 20,000 or so private security guards watching over U.S. officials, installations and private workers in Iraq.

42. This one?
http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3339605/

The $87 Billion Money Pit
"Six months ago the administration decided to cut corners on normal bidding procedures and hand over large contracts to defense contractors like Bechtel and Halliburton on a limited-bid or no-bid basis. It bypassed the Iraqis and didn’t worry much about accountability to Congress. The plan was for “blitzkrieg” reconstruction. But by sacrificing accountability for speed, America is not achieving either very well right now. For months no one has seemed to be fully in charge of postwar planning. There has been so little transparency that even at the White House “it was almost —impossible to get a sense of what was happening” on the power problem, says one official privy to the discussions.
<snip>
Meanwhile a turf fight between USAID and the CPA has led Bremer to insist that the CPA take over the dispensing of some rebuilding contracts (though Natsios says he’s been reassured that the new CPA office “is not meant to replace USAID”). That may not solve anything: contractors in Iraq complain that the CPA’s staff consists largely of political appointees who don’t understand the process. “CPA is run by a bunch of political hacks and incompetents who have no idea what they’re doing,” said a project manager for a firm working on a major USAID contract. “Every time we turn around there’s a new order coming from CPA, ‘Do it this way—no, do it that way instead.’ It’s just unbelievable.” Privately, some CPA officials admit the staff is less than the best the United States has to offer. Right now, “we’re not talking A-team, even B-team. We’re talking C-team,” says one official with the CPA. The Bush administration denies that any major changes are afoot, but all these problems have prompted a new reckoning back in Washington: Douglas Feith, Rumsfeld’s policy chief and a key official involved in postwar planning, is no longer sitting in on reconstruction meetings, NEWSWEEK has learned, and the White House has wrested oversight from the Pentagon."

end to all the pain.

65. Kerry does play some guitar
but more in the classical style. He needs to learn some rock power cords and do a Clinton (as in playing Sax) and jam with Dave Letterman's band. That would be Elvis.

57. Here just in time to here Guy on a rant.
The "vanilla" campaign. "It's up to you, Senator Kerry, to keep the fire going."

Thank you, Guy. I hope he is listening. These are words of wisdom.

"Contrast yourself with Bush."

62. WOW--it's time to display your convictions
don't you think the voters deserve that?

Kudos to Guy James on this one.

He is expressing the concerns of a lot of people who are against the Bush and doing it well

"You've got to light the fire "

Al Gore campaign "morass" don't fall into it.

72. When you order..send me an email and I enclose your name to Guy !
I am not making any money and never ever claimed to.
I put a Take it Back CD back in January. Guy loves it. Which makes me feel good. It lists Bush lies, war cost, a how much better the dems can do. It lists how much damage has been done and has already swayed some voters. I promised and I mean it.......The whole point was to Get the word out ! Now.....Lets Take it Back
I list my name, my credentials and am the one who called Katherine Harris on CNN about her disenfranchising voters in Florida.
Won the C-Span contest and mean what I say !

75. Thanks to Guy James for a great show.
Left us with a lot to think about, concerning sneaky plans to try to voter-purge the whole country.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Local note I just heard on my local tv station's 5:00 p.m. news. The town's big paper, the Kansas City Star, (which, I am hacked to mention, is managed by very conservative types in the present) has formally recommended firing Don Rumsfeld's @$$.
If the K. C. Star has done this, you can be sure far more actions are right ahead across the country.
