How about that! Bush really IS a uniter, not a divider. |
|
He has done something that nobody else has been able to do, united the Shiites and the Sunni's and just about every other branch of Islam. Good work, Georgie boy. They are finally all united, against us.

The lie or campaign promise about being an uniter and not a divider was one of the most stupid statements made by Bush and that is saying a great deal. Bush was successful in Texas due to Bob Bullock and not due to his political skills.
Bush has been the most partisan president in recent history. He has generated a great deal of division in the US and the rest of the world. However, he has united the Sunnies and Shias for a brief period.

The problem is we still have a divided nation here.
I find it frustrating that most of the world sees the problems with this administration but those in our own country turn a blind eye.
I feel at times we have people that follow Bush on the strict religious aspect. They see him as a devout Christian who is doing God's will. But I can't believe that would constitute half of America though.
I know many people that our devoutly religious Christians and they see what Bush has done as wrong and the religious facade for what it is.
I'm still trying to figure out where this support comes from. Is it the education system that turns out socially deaf people or what.
Frustrating.

6. We're A Little More United Now Than Before |
|
Don't sell what's happening short. We had a majority of the votes in 2000 and almost all of us can't wait to get a shot at this regime again. Plus there are millions of more people who have been negatively affected by this regime, don't frequent message boards or say it at the water cooler or anywhere. They're a growing number of swing voters who are starting to chafe under this regime's excesses. Enough is soon going to be enough.
You're not hearing the word "Bush Hate" as much lately. There's a reason for it.

I agree that the tide it turning but the key is getting those people out to the polls in November. They need to realize the only way for this to turn around is to remove the catalyst of this.
I live in a predominately conservative area and it's hard to find that united against Bush mantra.
I have great hope for November and will enjoy voting and getting others out to vote.
