1. The "strengthening" part is changing the magazine location.
More useless cosmetic bans that don't affect criminals.

3. Up vote means that you would vote FOR the bill
which would mean you were voting to ban the weapons in accordance with the proposed law.

4. Also, the assault weapons ban has nothing to do with machine guns.
Every AWB thread needs this in it:

The assault weapons ban has nothing to do with machine guns.
The assault weapons ban has nothing to do with machine guns.
The assault weapons ban has nothing to do with machine guns.

8. Even Bush "allegedly" supports the ban

Well I own assault weapons (LEGALLY-father is a retired Customs Special Agent he bought them with an FFL liscense)

I can tell you I have no problem with strict regulations on assault rifles. They are not toys believe me you really gotta know what you're doing. Joe Citizen would most likely shoot himself in the foot trying to defend his home with one of these.

Actually it'd be pretty stupid to defend your home with an assault rifle seeing as how a .223 bullet can easily pass through a person and possibly hit something of value or worse a loved one one exit...

9. The real question is:
What are we going to talk about when(if) the Assault Weapons Ban sunsets in September?

10. The same thing people did from 1994-2004.
Get robbed by people with handguns.
