Gen Ricardo Sanchez Part- Karpinski
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/storydisplay.cfm?storyID=3564335&thesection=news&thesubsection=world&thesecondsubsection=&reportID=562588

Karpinski asked who had signed the Nov 19th order that put A G under military intelligence; answer Sanchez. All the shills at the table said they weren't aware of it, or didn't know if it was contrary to army regulations. Karpinski (who is very sharp) came back that Taguba said that it violated a particular military regulation.

*****
Is not Rumsfeld the civilian boss to Sanchez? How could Rumsfeld not be aware of this order? (which, according to Karpinski, caused confusion amongst the troops). Even if somehow he was not, should not he have been? (And Myers as well).

Sanchez in charge of torture investigation early on...

Do he decides to have MORE torture by having military intelligence be in charge of the prison.

Smell test is asphyxiating me.
