In the AbFab episode, "Hospital", Magda visits Patsy and is going over some Magazine issues; and she remarks:
"Journos with egos. I don't like them. I mean, it's hard enough to read most of the crap that's written without having to look at a photo of the bastard that wrote it."

9. What kind of dumbass comes up with these polls? |
|
That was shitty! You can be dissatisfied with his testimony for a lot of reasons.
They should have asked if he should resign or be fired or keep his job. That's what an RIT poll asked and there were way more votes for him to leave than stay.

13. Watching Richardson... I have had the impression for the past.. |
|
couple of weeks that he has relented and IS considering running with Kerry. My reason is, look at Richardson's appearance lately. He has cleaned up a lot. Hair cut. Lost weight. Better clothes. Wolf just asked him about it and he danced. He did not say no. :D
I love Wes and would love to see him as V.P. But! If Richardson lends more to the ticket and I think he does, I've gotta go with Richardson. Sorry Wes.

14. Richardson is essential |
|
to the ticket if the Dems have any possibility of lighting up this campaign. Someone needs to get behind Kerry and push like a steam engine, and it sure isn't Graham, or Gephardt, or Clark, and (please God) not pretty boy Edwards who was and still is a huge supporter of Bush's war in Iraq.

didn't pass the vetting. Women trouble dating back to Clinton years. I talked to him at a DNC event and he appeared understated.( No, I didn't ask him, but that was the rumour circulating) and then I read it somewhere but can't recall where. Vilsak of Iowa rumoured to have passed, admitted he was vetted but was closemouthed but upbeat. But he went into the canned "I am happy to be Governor, Senator or whatever of my state. We'll see. Edwards also rumoured to have passed as well as Gephardt and Clark still being vetted.

17. Look, Richardson's my gov and he's a good one, but I don't |
|
begin to see how he brings more to the ticket than Wes.
I gather you believe Richardson will singlehandedly deliver the Hispanic vote, but I think that's a faulty assumption. Hipanics don't vote as a bloc any more than any other minority does.
Besides, in the primaries Wes came in a strong second to Kerry both here and in Arizona and won the endorsement of both the Albuquerque Tribune and the Native American Times. He's very well liked and well respected here in the Southwest.
Finally, I think Richardson can help get out the Hispanic vote just by campaigning with Kerry (and Wes if he gets the nod). He doesn't need to be on the ticket to do that.

And I agree, Richardson's doing a great job. But then I only have Gary Johnson to compare him to.
