quick aural/visual exercise for Bush/Kerry comments.

Next time Bush gives an address, don't watch, just listen.

Do the same for Kerry address.

Next time Bush gives an address, don't listen (mute), just watch.

Do the same for Kerry address.

Try and put your attention not on content of the address, but its context (delivery, cadence, tone, mannerism, body language, etc.)

The differences are distinct. While this is a "subliminal" kind of assessment, I think it plays a part in the general perception of a candidate, and is a legitimate piece of the picture of who he is as a person.

Can't wait for the debates.
