if we could just for a moment play the game, "what if it had been clinton?" if all this crap that buschco is doing had been done under a democratic president, he'd have already been hung from a tree by frothing neoconazis. bush and gang have gotten away with some of the most treacherous, treasonous acts imaginable, all right under our noses, all with our apparent approval, no one appears to be stopping them.

he could never be getting away with all this if it had not been for the 9-11 attack. when it happened, we were all so stunned and panicky, we overlooked the coup de tat that was occuring. (the coup began election night, 2000) and everything bushco ever wanted, was handed to them on a silver plate.

it's the ultimate excuse for anything. yes, the economy is dragging, but it's cause of 9-11. yes, we are at war, over 9-11. the patriot act is o.k., cause of 9-11. those tortures of p.o.w.'s are acceptable, they did 9-11. we must stay the course in iraq, because of 9-11.

bush uses 9-11 as a platform for his re-election, but only wants to focus on the happy, shiny aspects of it. how it brought us all together, made us feel patriotic again, got us focused again, gave us all a sense of comradery in grief. and he did everything he could to stop the investigations, which is highly suspicious.

sure was a boon for bushco, 9-11. that single horrrible event has given bushco everything it needed to conquer america, and then the earth itself. yeah, it all worked out very well for bushco. it's streamlined their agenda, and removed all obstacles from their path with such smoothness and efficiency, it's almost as if they'd planned it. but that would be stretching it a bit i guess.

Wasn't it the PNAC'ers who stated they needed "another Pearl Harbor" in order to carry out their agenda? It seems to me they got just that on 9/11/2001. And absolutely no one in our so-called electorate is doing a damned thing to stop them.

Planned it? That may be a stretch, perhaps...but the more I see them get away with, the more I believe in LIHOP.
