Not by the abuse, for as that thread shows, it is nothing far removed from our thought and behavior in America. I am ashamed that I was shocked to see the photos, that I was outraged and disbelieving and disturbed instead of being awake to the sad but clear truth of our people.

I was only one person but I was speechless. His reaction to the wired man on a box photo was how funny it looked. It was like a Halloween costume to him.

I heard some radio jocks making jokes this morning. These same jocks have been bashing Bush for a while now. My guess is that they are making jokes to keep people talking about this....making jokes so people will remember(if they laughed or if they were offended) the news through out their day.

That the worst posts at Free Republic will be excerpted by Luci the Bat and Mickey Kaus and paraded as typical examples of the right wing mentality currently running our nation. These posts will be on exhibit as how all conservatives think, regardless of any mitigating posts.
Right? I mean, that would be only fair from those paragons of fairness.
