And he's been frothing for the past several minutes about how these prisoners must "thank Allah that Saddam Hussein is not running these prisons" because under Saddam Hussein torture was WORSE! And he's entering a bunch of pictures of Saddam Hussein's torture victims into the record. So far he hasn't asked a single question.

So far he's the only member of Congress I've seen arguing that this is all really no big deal, and the prisoners should be GRATEFUL that all we're doing is stripping them naked, beating them, and setting dogs on them.

IT's truly horrifying.

I was "listening" to the Senate hearing this morning and had to sit down and look at the tv to find out just which asshole could possibly be saying such enormously vicious and stupid things. He also carried on about how dreadful it was for the Kerry campaign to use the prisoner torture scandal as a fundraising tool. Right on, Kerry campaign! To be fair, several other braindead repukes echoed his sentiments as things wore on.
