Personally, I have not watched the video that has disturbed the psyche of DU and of America. We desire to understand why it happened but there is no understanding. It is simple madness. It is the madness of war. Death and sorrow reborn as revenge. Our hearts beat in sadness for what has happened. That is all we know.

You're right, it's madness, pure and simple.

I've speculated a little in another post but I think I'm only doing so because there is this natural urge to find reason even where there is none.

Understand madness? No. I don't think any of us will.

And it disturbs our souls when we cannot understand. We have to accept that there are some things that are born in chaos and have no meaning...It is insanity. We shall try to walk in the still waters...

The last 3 years have been difficult to endure and last week was a case study in sadism and evil...now, today, merciless horror.

I'm getting to the point where nothing shocks *ME* anymore - it's incomprehensible madness.
