...photos for months, but the Berg killing gets air play immediately. This is all part of the home front propaganda war.
on edit: a clarification-- I didn't mean to say that the administration released the Berg video. I only meant to note the discrepancy in the manner of its release, relative to the the Abu Ghraib photos. *Somebody* didn't want us to see those. *Sombody* wanted us to see the Berg video very badly. Those *somebodies* might not be the same, but I suggest that they have shared motives.

exclusive control of the Berg video. I'm sure they would have done the same thing if they did have exclusive control, but in this situation the comparison is not valid.
