Clinton's Book Release Next Month - Good for Kerry? |
|
Just announced that Clinton's book will be released next month. I think it will be a great thing for the Democrats and for Kerry. As he tours America to promote his book, most people will observe Clinton and remember how it was when we had a president who could lead the country in the right direction.
I don't believe it will take any wind out of Kerry's sails at all. I think Clinton's book release will be a bonanza for Dems.

Only Clinton-haters here and elsewhere will think it'll hurt Kerry.

2. Yes, and good for democrats |
|
Consider:
Not only will Clinton's book be released that will hopefully expose a lot of rightwing hypocrisy, but we also have "The Hunting of The President" and "Fahrenheit 911" coming out.
A case could be made that all this will drive undecided voters to the democrats.

It's before the convention, which is fine with the Kerry campaign. I also think he will use his platform via interviews to boost Kerry.

5. One of the biggest mistakes that Gore made |
|
Was trying to distance himself from Bill Clinton in 2000. I hope Kerry doesn't make that same mistake. Despite the winguts 8 year attempt to demonize him, Big Dog left the White House popular and well liked.
The Clinton years were 8 years of peace, prosperity and economic growth. I think now is a great time to compare what things were like when a Democrat was in office as opposed to what 3 years of Bushco has done to us.

6. I don't know. I have been following... |
|
...the OK City bombing trial, what little news there is. If something screwy comes out of it then Clinton could take some heat. Hopefully Kerry will wait a few weeks until the trial is over before getting too close to Clinton.

Get people thinking again, how the absolute worst thing in the world at that time was the stained blue dress. It can only help us for people to think back on how a competent leader deals with problems.
