Nick Berg video and voice analysis: question
Yesterday, CNN said the speaker on the video doesn't even have a Jordanian accent, though, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is from Jordan.

Today, CNN said an anonymous CIA official said they did voice-analysis which shows it's likely the speaker is Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

My question:

Were any previous tapes of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi publicly released?

Can someone besides the CIA compare the voices?

That raises more suspicion than anything. The knife-wielder is very agile.

5. If there are previous tapes, why can't a news organization pay someone
If there are previous tapes, why can't a news organization pay someone to do INDEPENDENT voice analysis comparison, instead of just relying on the CIA?

Even if someone doesn't have special software, can't an Arabic speaker listen to two tapes and make a judgement whether it's the same person speaking?

6. Frankly, I'm growing tired of...
these nebulous video/audio tapes that periodically emerge, and sure enough the CIA comes back, "seems to be legit." We're being taken for a ride, folks.

me, too.

I want someone else's opinion on whether the voice on the tape is Zarqawi's.
