1. I don't know if you can get a better look at the shorts...

I don't think it's a kilt, they look like baggy "Canterbury" brand shorts. That brand is popular in rugby circles (UK, Aussie, NZ etc military love the game), and it looks like the trademark "CCC" logo on the bottom right of the shorts:

Of course, I'm just throwing this into the ring in case someone has another photo of an SAS guy wearing shorts like this. It's a shot in the dark, really.

2. This is more than likely an ex-SAS boy who quit in Iraq

This guy is either STRAIGHT, or ex-SAS.

Either way, this is Damning...

One shows direct British involvement-- remember we used their R21 techniques...
