I bought "The Politics of Truth" yesterday.... |

by Ambassador Joseph Wilson. It is, of course, the story "inside the lies that led to war and betrayed (his) wife's CIA identity." I'm curious what other DUers think of the book? Thus far, I think it is a fascinating book. I am confident that in mid-July, this incident with the identity-outting will explode in the bush administration's face. Wilson is able to detail this story in a way that shows how evil and underhanded Rove and Cheney are.

2. I want to read this book |

Wilson was at UCF late last year and I was very impressed. This man comes from a very well-known family in San Francisco. I know that the bush contingent is trying to make him look like a stooge for the Democrats but Wilson's family were "white shoe Republicans, ala Rockefeller. Right now I am about five books behind on my reading, plus planning a Kerry fundraiser, a major event for my business, handling some details for a convention, and trying to keep a household going. Will read the Wilson book later this summer. Happy reading!
PS - Did you see the article about Wilson in Vanity Fair a few months ago?

He really lived an interesting life *before* all of the controversy.
The stories in Africa are amazing!
And he holds no punches when it comes to Novak, Ari, et al.

It is definitely next on my list. I'm reading Rogue State right now, and it is fascinating.

Of reading the book. I don't get a lot of time to read so I've barely put a nick in it but so far, so good. I've been burning the midnight oil trying to get in at least a few pages before I need to get some sleep. It's very hard to put down.

Who told Novak Wilson's wife's name? Personally, I don't think we will know the whole story until about 20-30 years from now when Karl Rove is on his deathbed and confesses.
