43. Unless you watched Neil Fat-face on the Pox network.
Noticed him briefly while I was changing the channel. He had Nancy Skinner on, who was rather good in rebutting his arguments. At one point he said, rather pathetically, "but can't you at least concede that..." Oh PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE tell me something good about bush!!!

Point is: they showed several poll results. Two of the latest ones, AND another poll that showed bush in better shape, purportedly to prove these polls don't mean anything, and the pro-bush poll shows it could just as easily be THAT way as the other way. . Thing is, though, the poll that showed bush with an edge was done MAY 1 - 3. The others were more than a week later, confirming the downward trend. He didn't even have the decency to point out that those were old numbers. Tried to portray all the polls as equal and concurrent.

JACKASS.

20. Why Nader?
Nader's the "none of the above" candidate: he's appealing to voters who can no longer support Bush but still see Kerry as a "tax and spend Massachusetts lib'rul".

How many of these "Nader-is-none-of-the-above" voters will actually get to the polls is another question.

54. IMO, Nader is just the certified whore you might pick up when ...
... "you don't wanna dance with them what brung you" ...
I agree that freepers are putting their money down a dark hole, the bastards; but possibly some others, somewhere else (dems or indys) might also indulge in Nader, if you get my drift ... but, unlike 2000 where incumbency values for Gore were a little sullied by the Big Dog's johnson, the 2004 election is FIRST and FOREMOST all about incumbency;

sooooooooooooooooo,
If this TREND continues, then we can at least take some real pleasure (if not comfort) out of the fact that dumya is being measured for job performance and being found unfit, and that he too will need to be OUTSOURCED ...

LOTS of Democrats say Kerry should be doing better now!" (Name ten, Candy, and I'll give you a cookie.) 60. It made me so mad when Crowley
was so dismissive of Kerry's positive poll numbers. If Chimpy was ahead they would have made a big deal about it.

When Bush was a couple of points ahead of Kerry in a Faux News poll they called Kerry "Mr. Unpopularity." I couldn't believe it. Kerry was only two points behind Bush in that poll which didn't mean anything because the polls are always jumping around.

The Repukes are good at the propaganda wars and use every dirty trick in the book to make the Chimp look good.

21. It only matters how Nader polls in the battleground states anyways, I
suspect that most of his votes will come from solid Kerry country like MA, NY and NJ, so I don't think he's a factor. I doubt he will hurt Kerry in battleground states like happened in 2000.

23. I also think its best to err on the negative side of that 4.5% margin of
error for Nader-- he's polling higher than the votes he actually won in 2000. I find it difficult to believe that he has more support now than in 2000.

19. What are the horserace numbers for registered voters?
Based on what I've read about polls at Ruy Teixeira's blog (http://www.emergingdemocraticmajorityweblog.com/donkeyrising/), the 'likely voter' poll results don't mean much this far out, and we should be paying more attention to the polls of 'registered voters'.

I suspect the results of that are similar, and perhaps even better for Kerry, if they are like other recent polls.

They can really see it by taking a long look around, Hell, a short look will do it too.

Without the Pub Whores in the Media, TV and Print, plus all the Fundie guys, this Bush is beyond Toast, more like ashes. Just spent $80 Mil only to watch in horror as his numbers went South. He will follow as he really deep in his heart wants to. Tired Bruised, and only delusion keeps him from being Ashamed of what he and his buddies caused.

They thought they could get away with this coup and now the Truth comes out, Americas Ship, once Proud and Mighty, is aground on the Reef of Shame. They are Toast, the sooner the better.

29. That's right. Rove/Bush/Cheney have blown $80 MILLION.
That's the most encouraging news, when you really think about it. $80 Million blanketing the battleground states with negative ads and Canadian Bus Tours, and they end up dropping further in the polls.

World events are conspiring against Bush. Kerry's recent ads have hurt Bush too, in my opinion. They're positive, they do an excellent job of introducing the candidate to the voters, and it would appear that Americans are really just beginning to view Kerry as the leader the country needs, now.

Bush cannot be trusted anymore. The People are waking up to this.

From the complete link; also look at the "doubts and reservations about Bush's ability to lead" number. Weren't "trust and leadership" his biggest issues a handful of months ago??

http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/05/14/bush.kerry/index.html

Those with "doubts and reservations" about Bush's ability to lead the country rose from 55 percent to 59 percent while those who believe the president can be trusted as a leader dropped from 44 percent to 39 percent, since early February.
