A wounded soldier returns home
Just think, once this man recovers someday he can run for office as a Democrat and be attacked by some Republican chickenhawk--who is probably today getting boozed up in his frat house--for being unpatriotic and "weak on defense".

Staff Sgt. Troy Mechanick has a piece of the rocket-propelled grenade that hit his convoy in Iraq on Easter Sunday, seriously injuring him and several others, and killing his friend Private First Class Nathan Brown. “We didn't even have time to react - it just exploded,” Mechanick said.

This is Mechanick's first day home after spending several weeks at a military hospital in Washington, where he had several high-profile visitors including Congressman John Sweeney and Senator John Kerry.
