How should we celebrate the 1-year anniversary of "Bring It On?"
It's this July 2, apparently. Not too early to start the planning!

The lines are open,

The Plaid Adder

1. "Bring it off!" ?
"Uncle"?
"Cease and desist"?
"KIng's X"?
"Please don't hit me any more."?

2. Celebrate the Bring It On?
We should do what my Hillel did on Yom Hashoah. We should read off the names of ever soldier killed, injured or MIA in Afganistan and in Iraq, then tell President Whistle-Ass where we can Bring It On to him.

There's a reason Laura's on top during sex. . .(Old Reagan Joke).

"Bring It On!!!" Easy when you're children are dying for your lies isn't it, Mr. Bush.

3. A petition to Universal Studios...
Edited on Fri May-14-04 05:57 PM by Bush_Eats_Beef
...asking them to label all future DVDs of the smash hit Kirsten Dunst comedy "Bring It On" with the following disclaimer:

"This motion picture does not contain George W. Bush, Karl Rove, Karen Hughes, Asscroft, Rummy, Saddam Hussein, Pappy Bush, "Bar," The Bush Daughters, Evil Dick, Pickles, "Kenny Boy" Lay, or any other member of the Bush Administration, including...but not limited to...Barney The Dog."

Edited because I forgot to include "Evil" Dick Cheney. He also does not appear in the film.

5. I thought it was "Bring 'em on"
not "bring it on"...

Nitpicking.

No celebration, but I'll mark the mis-statement (HA!) by sending very tersely worded emails to each and every member of congress that voted for IWR or PATRIOT. Yep. Even my man, Kerry.

8. A full count of every coalition death, POW, MIA,
casualty count (good luck on that one), and retaliation actions since those words were uttered.

"Yeah, they 'brought 'em on', now let's bring 'em home!"

11. Plaid, that is an anniversary I had failed to mark on my calendar.
How about the March on Washington for the 4th? Wasn't someone here at DU trying to launch one? I think a march on Washington for the 4th of July and is a grand idea. In celebration of we the people taking our country back and telling George what we think of "Bring it on"!
