So, did the Gay-Marriage thing backfire and is that why it has fallen
off the radar... Too many Gay republicans? :shrug:

or is it the Torture scandal? is it still being pushed in congress or was it dropped like a hot potato?


just crossed my mind and wondering what your'all thoughts are ;-)

1. Torture scandal
drove it off the headlines, but I've also read in the NYTimes that the parishoners in the pews aren't buying the homophobic argument of the preachers. Seems they think that gay marriage isn't going to destroy anything, won't hurt anybody, so why not? And I'm sure that caterers,florists, people in the formal wear business, and all others involved in the wedding industry welcome the addition of thousands of clients!
