I am not into this kind of music (music wise) but I do not dislike it. I thought it was powerful and the music in this case was perfect for the message. I was frankly a little stunned by it. ...the groups name is OTEP. This is the first thing I've heard by them. It does ahve that stun you like a bat between the eyes effect, I agree.

My oldest son is determined that I will not go the way of "old folks" so he gives me music he knows I will never listen to on my own but I had not heard of either of these. So tell me, is there protest music going on out there that us oldies might not be aware of? I was wondering about this the other day. Really, that was a powerful piece. I was just getting ready to paint my Re-Defeat Bush sign and was getting bored with it but this inspired me to get it done and hung up for tomorrow. Wow, thanks, it still is going through my head.
