About Al-Hurrah (The US backed Iraqi TV station based in Virginia):
Q: You dont think, as the administration does, that this new network can promote things like freedom, democracy, moderation in the region?
A: No I don't think so at all, I think those are values that people here aspire to, but they dont see them coming either from the barrels of American army guns or the lenses of American television cameras.

1. That was a great quote |

Al-Hurrah must be targeting the neocon-Arab audience. Maybe what? 2 to 5 Arabs in an asylum for the insane. Another $62 millon down the toilet.

2. Yes I heard that too. This is also the radio Bush used to |
|
appologize to the Arab world. From what I've heard, the Arab World diesn't think much of his appology. It would have been much better if he would hae gon on al jezeera (sp).
I guess this is modern technology.
