Has anyone considered this McCain as VP scenario

Say Kerry picked McCain.

Say, as some pollsters are saying, democrats either win back the senate or it becomes dead even again.

Won't McCain have the tiebreaking vote? Not a good thing.

among other reasons for not supporting McCain as VP. I like McCain immensely, and even thought about him as the vice presidential candidate, but realized it would be a bad move, especially considering he's as much of a hawk as William Kristol and John Podhoretz, with the exception being that McCain has testicles and is willing to act on his love of war personally.

McCain supports the so-called missile defense system -- even though the thing is an immense failure and will result in flushing billions of dollars down the rat holes of gluttonous defense contractors.
