Ugggghhhh, Gasoline in my town has gone up 12 cents in the past 5 days |
|
Last Friday, we had the predictable weekend spike of 5 cents a gallon, and yesterday, it went up another 7 cents.
It was probably a celebratory reaction to Bush saying he wouldn't use the strategic petroleum reserve.
Anyway, the cheapest thing around here now is $2.32. :grr:

3. Sorry ! Didn't most big oil companies report record profits? |
|
Isn't there an investigation into price gouging in California?
I have read quite a few posts on "gas prices should rise even more so people drive less..." I wish people would drive less and more fuel-efficient cars. However, big corporations get richer thanks to Bush's corporate welfare and the rich don't care about how much it cost them to fill up their gas guzzler.
These prices hurt the working poor the most. People who can least afford it.
