well, Judy Woodruff did it again today
I didn't even catch the whole show, but I was flipping channels and they were talking about Bush's visit to the hill.

What a positive tone the whole thing had! They showed the rethugs giving him glowing remarks, then they actually showeod Pelosi for about five seconds talking about how "incompetent" Bush is, then they let some other reporter quote Tom Delay's response in full.

Judy got a good chuckle out of that! Said something like "well it's good to see the Republicans back to bashing the Democrats instead of each other". HA HA HA!!!

Then she fucking interviewed some fucking GOP congresswoman from Ohio for TEN FUCKING MINUTES.

Did she give any Democrat, or anyone with a dissenting view a chance to air their views?

Nope.Of course not.

And she said that prior to this she had interviewed Dick Cheney's daughter.

I suppose this is better than yesterday, where she ran a clip where a man accused John Kerry of being responsible for the high gasoline prices!

Anyway here's what I just wrote to CNN:

Judy Woodruff does it again today. She is a partisan campaigning for the GOP.

Today she spent over ten minutes interviewing a republican congresswoman from Ohio, about Bush's "positive" visit to the hill about Iraq.

She did not interview any Democrats, or anyone who might have a dissenting view.

She chuckled over Tom Delay's "beating up on the Democrats".

Prior to this she interviewed Dick Cheney's daughter.

It seems that in Judy Woodruff's world there simply ARE no Democrats.

I find it astounding that someone in her position, as an employee, supposedly, of CNN, can abuse her position to promulgate her political views.

This is not news. It's propaganda.

Judy Woodruff needs to be fired so she can work full time for the Bush/Cheney campaign, something she is already doing ON YOUR DIME.

Feel free to write them too here:

http://www.cnn.com/feedback/cnntv/

Tell them Judy Woodruff is abusing her position by campaigning for Bush/Cheney on CNN's DIME.

Fuck, I don't know, if enough people do it maybe they'll pay attention.

1. to be fair....
...she DID talk with Richard Holbrooke about Kerry's intentions for Iraq for several minutes. She became quite agitated and flustered with what he had to say.

14. I saw that interview
with Holbrooke. Judy was no match for him. Holbrooke is extremely intelligent and is used to working with diplomats around the world. He made Judy look like a stupid little schoolgirl. I'll bet she won't be inviting him back soon. I'll also bet that there will be a place in Kerry's cabinet for Richard Holbrooke. That talent can't go to waste.

2. She's despicable.
My email to Judy (insidepolitics@cnn.com):

"Are you a Republican?

It certainly seems as though you are.

Snide remarks are always coming from you. You harbor a deep disdain towards anything Democratic, it seems.

Why don't you just profess your love to George W Bush? You might as well. These past few weeks, your anti-Kerry bias has grown to immeasurable levels. It's quite saddening to witness your journalistic integrity melt into a mass of Bush-apologistic cheerleading.

"Political gain", etc, for John Kerry, whenever you bring up an issue such as gas prices. Everything Kerry does is for "political gain"--its as if you were reading directly from an RNC script. Such language proves that you indeed are biased against Democrats and John Kerry, especially considering that you would NEVER utilize such language against George W Bush (whom, in fact, finds a way to politicize everything for political gain--of course, you would NEVER point this out).

You're a journalist.
You went to journalism school, I would assume.

Therefore, start being one. If you hate John Kerry, as you so obviously do, then give up your job. Fraudulent journalism should not be accepted, and you should quit if you're incapable of at least practicing a form of reporting that doesn't border on Fox News pro-Bush bias at all times.

Shame on you, Judy. I would expect better from such a beautiful lady such as yourself.

Rob"

3. After that she had on Nader. Who had more threats for Kerry if his
supporters in 527's criticize him, try to keep him off the ballot, etc. than criticism of Whistle-ass.

6. I think it's a great idea....
to take the word "partisan" from the republicans and use it just like they do, to attack the right. See, it's not like "liberal," where they can demonize a non-neutral word. "Partisan" can apply to both sides.

Therefore, I hereby recommend that we use the word "partisan" to describe republicans, right-leaning media figures and newspeople, and fourth estate whores like Judy Woodruff.

And great e-mail, by the way!

10. What have I been doing? PLAYING POLITICS.
Working on some sekrit video projects, which made a dent in my DU addiction for a while...

Now stop playing politics!

11. I was being partisan for political gain.
And yes, I was playing politics.

I've been working two full-time jobs myself, so my DU time has been experiencing severe cutbacks, too.

12. I sent an email myself. Yesterday I had to suffer through her segment
when she discussed Kerry's "Frenchness" and today her giggle about how relieved she was that the republicans were united against the dems again. This does not qualify as news. It is Judy's hour to campaign for Bush.

13. Great letter. Now stop watching that crap.
You'll feel better. It's not news, it's not even news "lite" -- it's tabloid infotainment that doesn't do what real news does. Get your news online and from print sources, and convince your friends. Eventually someone will notice that people are getting their news elsewhere. They want an audience.
