I am such a moron!!!!!!!!! |
|
This is my 800th post.
A short while ago I posted in the lounge requesting an important topic to discuss in this landmark post. The winning suggestion comes from Lucky Luciano, who wrote "You are such a moron!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
How could I contradict such an astute observation? In 2000 I thought to myself, "Gore, Bush, what's the difference." So I sat out the election, like I had so many elections before. I am such a moron!
But what did I learn from that mistake? I learned that it damn well does matter! Hundreds of American lives and thousands of Iraqi lives later the whole world knows just how much it matters.
The question now is how to help other morons like me to realize how important it is for them to get involved; how important it is for them to care about the future of their country and their world.
We all have certain rights, but one right we do NOT have is the right to complain about problems that we have done nothing to prevent or are doing nothing to correct. Did you do something today to help promote the cause of our party and our candidates? Will you do something tomorrow to aid that cause? If not, then, like me, you are a moron and deserving of whatever government is thrust upon you.
Don'tbe a moron like me. Get actively involved today.

I saw the same thing with Nixon, Regan and George the First.
It took me a while to get pissed-off too.
