Anybody Recall The Oliver North Moment In Iran\Contra When...
Senator Inouye, who lost an arm in WWII tried to ask North, after North had stated that he would stand on his head in a corner for the Commander In Chief, if he was familiar with the Nuremberg Trials???

I guess North's lawyer shouldn't have cut off the war hero Senator, huh???

Many might have learned a lesson or two from history, no???

:nuke:

1. I Met North Once

I met North about 10 years ago. I was shocked.
I thought I was going to see a handsome military type.
He was average/boring and wimpy looking.
At the time, he had just written his boring book. He also was the head of some kind of security company that made vest for Police.

I bet that crook is a multi millionaire by now. He made money from being a crook. I bet the same think happens to the Neo Cons.

So sad.

2. A friend of mine was in the Naval Academy with North. Said
that North took five years to finish the four years at the Naval Academy. He was almost expelled for some "honor" thing but ended up getting them to let him stay and do a year over. My friend also went into the Marines as an officer so he ran into Ollie several times over the years. Seems pretty unanimous that those who served with him despise him. Ollie, that is.

Also, I worked with a guy who was in the military at the White House (different branch) and said that "Ollie" was not liked or respected by the others. It was obvious he was up to no good but it wasn't just that.
