What do you think of the Kerry commercial? |
|
I finally saw my first Kerry commercial on CNN. It was nice, but a little phony in a Walmart sort of way. It felt like you were being marketed to instead of real political honesty.

In Ohio, the Kerry Bio Ad is running non-stop... the one with Teresa, and Alexandra... I think they're wonderful, but maybe that's just the idealistic dreamer in me...
Personally, I think they bear a stark contrast to the bullshit Bush negative ads, specifically the ones on "weapons systems" and "c-c-crazy gas tax hikes."

they were likeable, especially Theresa Heinz Kerry, perhaps it was the music that was cheesy.

I agree, but it does grow on you after a while, so that's something I guess.

While Shrub is running attack ads and being negative, JK is introducing himself in a positive way to the American people. I think all these negative ads That are full of lies will hurt Bush. No one is buying the fear Card that Shrub is playing this year.

I think the ads would be more effective if they recorded several narration tracks, each with a different regional dialect, and distribute them appropriately. The idea being, a person in some southern swing state would rather listen to and trust a local-sounding voice than a generic hollywood narration that they hear in every other commercial/movie trailer.
