Outing Plame
Their handpicked intelligence agent, Chalabi, serving up secrets (why did he have them?) to the Iranians.

6. Guilty For 9-11: Bush, Rumsfeld, Myers
Andrews Air Force Base is a huge military installation just 10 miles from the Pentagon.

On 11 September Andrews had two squadrons of fighter jets with the job of protecting the skies over Washington D.C. They failed to do their job. Despite over one hour's advance warning of a terrorist attack in progress, not a single Andrews fighter took off (or scrambled) to protect the city.

The FAA, NORAD and the military have cooperative procedures by which fighter jets intercept commercial aircraft under emergency conditions. These procedures were not followed.

Air Force officials and others have tried to explain away the failures:

"Air Force Lt. Col. Vic Warzinski, another Pentagon spokesman, : 'The Pentagon was simply not aware that this aircraft was coming our way, and I doubt prior to Tuesday's event, anyone would have expected anything like that here.'"
--'Newsday,' 23 September 2001 (1)

Using information from the mass media and official Websites, we will show that this is a lie.

Some of what happened on 9-11, such as planes flying into buildings, is unusual. But most of what happened, such as commercial jets flying off-course, transponder failures and possible hijackings, are everyday emergencies. We will show that these emergencies are routinely handled with expert efficiency based on clear rules.

The crash of the first hijacked jet into the World Trade Center made it clear the United States was faced with an extraordinary situation. This should have intensified the emergency responses of the air safety and air defense systems.

The whole country was aware. For example, at 9:06 AM the NY Police broadcast:

" 'This was a terrorist attack. Notify the Pentagon.'"
--'Daily News' (New York) 12 September 2001 (2)

'American Forces Press Service' reported that ordinary people working at the Pentagon worried they could be next:

"'We were watching the World Trade Center on the television,' said a Navy officer. 'When the second plane deliberately dove into the tower, someone said, 'The World Trade Center is one of the most recognizable symbols of America. We're sitting in a close second.'"
--'DEFENSELINK News', Sept. 13, 2001 (3)

U.S. air safety and air defense emergency systems are activated in response to problems every day. On 9-11 they failed despite, not because of, the extreme nature of the emergency. This could only happen if individuals in high positions worked in a coordinated way to make them fail.

Such operatives would almost surely have failed if they tried to disrupt and abort routine protection systems without top-level support. The failure of the emergency systems would be noticed immediately. Moreover, given the catastrophic nature of the attacks, the highest military authorities would be alerted. Acting on their own, the operatives could expect that their orders would be countermanded and that they themselves would be arrested.

The sabotage of routine protective systems, controlled by strict hierarchies, would never have been contemplated let alone attempted absent the involvement of the supreme U.S. military command. This includes at least U.S. President George Bush, U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and the then-Acting Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force General Richard B. Myers.

In the following summary of evidence we will demonstrate probable cause for charging the above-named persons with treason for complicity in the murders of thousands of people whom they had sworn to protect.

22. Bingo
that's still the $64,000 question.

Why did Bu$h, Rumsfeld and Myers all sit on their hands during the attack and pretend they didn't have a clue that two passenger jets flying into the WTC was anything to even skip a beat about. Because they knew they had to wait for the Pentagon to be hit before they could react. So, for 40 minutes they had to play dumb, wondering where the hell were those last two planes?

When Bus* loses, and if we win in congress, the destruction, obstruction, obfuscation and concealment of documents will not be equaled in history. John Dean wrote abut Bush's conceament activities with regard to his documents in his latest book, and this article shows Bus*co has not slowed down.

What plans, if any, are the Dems formulating to prevent or impede any of this? Who do was ask?

20. Also take a look at the CEOs of these companies All Ex CIA. & MI
it really is an eye opener as to what these companies really are

It appears that the Defense Contractors are a revolving door for the CIA and MI guys. Or that most of these companies are actually All or in part a CIA front.

What makes it even more interesting and I don't see any one asking the question is this. If indeed they are CIA front operations then "What they Fuck are they doing making HUGE campaign contributions"

It is like our tax dollars go to the CIA's secret funding (not even all congressional members are privy to that information) and then end up recycled into Bush's campaign

15. Does staging and winning a bloodless Coup count?
Edited on Sat May-22-04 03:32 PM by suegeo
Jeb, whistleass, and that Harris witch purged the Flordia voting records and stole an election.

Also, does the attempt at overthrowing Hugo Chavez count as treason, or is that just another major fuck-up of the Bush admin?

The Pentagon cannot account for some trillions of dollars, but I'm not sure I can pin all of that on whistleass, yet.

Little Tommy Thompson broke the law by disgusing Medicare reform ads as news reports.

They roughed up some Medicare drug bill hold-out congressman, threatening him to vote for the bill or else they'd pull some nasty stuff on his son, who was trying to run for office.

They threatened some bean counter, telling him not to tell the truth about the cost of the prescription drug bill.

He lied about Niger uranium buy in the state of the union address.

I think they committed a war crime when they allowed the looting of the museums in Iraq after the junta's invasion.

The rape of California during the energy crisis was bad. Whistleass didn't step in, and lots of people lost big money. Some people even died due to his corruption.

I think our glorious leader himself was the one who allowed members of the binLaden family out of the USA just after 9.11, before anyone could be questions.

The lies about Saddam's WMDs, the 9.11 stuff mentioned earlier is the worst stuff they've done (so far).

Also, probably treason here, if they'd only let us look:
What the hell is in Big Dick's secret energy task force papers?
What the hell is in Poppy's papers, which little Bush had locked up?

Why is Congress dragging their feet? To wait until the November election is too much like putting all your eggs in one basket. Everyone is expecting the election to fix everything. What if it doesn't? We need to start indicting the whole executive office now.

18. How much of the Bill of Rights have they destroyed?
Edited on Sat May-22-04 04:33 PM by suegeo
They can now conduct secret searches of my house when I'm not home.

They have dragged away American Citizens to prison without offering them a trial or a lawyer.

The first amendment zones are anti-American.

When the Florida police roughed up protestors at the "free trade" meetings, I'd say that was really bad. Plus, this police harrassment was paid for with Federal money, collected from taxpayers.

On edit, here's some stuff I forgot:

Bush took money that Congress appropriated for the invasion of Afghanistan and used it to start his invasion of Iraq. Only congress can appropriate money, and they did not give our dictator the money to invade Iraq. The dictator violated the constitution with this act.

I wonder what is happening with the investigations into the attempted assassinations of Democrats Daschle and Leahy using Anthrax laced letters? I feel the foot dragging here is treasonous. The poor citizens in the post office and in the so-called liberal media who got whacked in this attack would probably think this treasonous too. But alas, they're dead, so I cannot be sure of their opinions.

Some day when mad cow disease or alzheimers wipes out my brain or the brain of a loved one, I think I'd probably label the limits to stem cell research and other science research as treasonous.

26. Enough with the 'treason' crap, already.
This 'treason' thing is a problem because it trivializes treason, a crime with specific characteristics. If it was just good clean fun I wouldn't bother offering my two cents, but it's not. Calling everything 'treason' is ugly Republican-style hate politics. It's using strong words for the visceral thrill of being hateful and irresponsible... sort of like yelling at people in traffic.

Treason, like all serious crimes in America, requires a certain intent. Traitors must actually want the enemy to win. To commit treason an American must be acting for the purpose of helping the enemy defeat the US in time of war. I doubt that Bush has ever undertaken an action thinking, "Good, this will help America lose the war."

It's difficult to define winning or losing in this weird war, but whatever Bush thinks losing the GWOT is, that's not what Bush wants to do. And, as commander in chief, his definition of winning and losing is damn near definitive--it's not like Congress tied his hands with any overly specific goals.

Profiteering isn't treason. Incompetence isn't treason. Lying to the people isn't treason. Cowardice under fire isn't treason. Evading the draft isn't treason. Furthermore, I haven't seen any suggestion that Bush outed Plame or had any personal involvement in Chalabi passing information to Iran, so even if those are considered treason by someone they're still not anything Bush has personally done.

28. What they did to Clinton trivialized impeachment
I don't think this talk of treason is purely semantics. There are real crimes here and real were laws broken and "rule of law" used to mean something before they trivialized that too.

30. Evidence in a treason case is irrelevent
There are only two ways to convict some one of treason:
1) testimony of two witnesses to the overt act, or
2) confession in open court.

There are no other ways. Even if you had a confession signed by *, you still couldn't convict for treason.
