God I love John Edwards...he's speaking at |
|
the Minnesota DFL convention in Duluth right now....he just said something like "And believe it or not the current Secretary of the Treasury believes that it's good for America to outsource jobs. I'll tell you what would be good for America, to outsource this administration and George Bush" The crowd went nuts. Lol, I was driving down 35w and teared up...gawd. Oh yeah and he's majorly cute too...

5. He has to be the #1 choice for VP |
|
it would form a strong ticket, and wouldn't be like the ticket Al had last time. The gods know I love Al, but what was he thinking?
Edwards is my personal choice, though there are many with credentials and ability.

He was my # 2 choice in the big primary field.
And not just because he's cute, of course.

7. I like his phrase: Not in OUR America! - which is even more relevant now |

when used in connection with the human rights violations of this administration. We sure could use two highly intelligent lawyers with integrity like Kerry and Edwards to straighten out all the illegalities that have been perpetrated by Bush & Co.! Edwards is my choice for V.P. because of the vitality and positive image he offers but any position that keeps him in the limelight as a spokesman for America will be fine with me.

He has no baggage other than being a lawyer.
Great personal history.
Can debate anyone.
Good looking
smears will not work on him.
He has charisma to balance Kerry.

9. I love both John Edwards and Wes Clark. For different reasons |
|
They're both good speakers, they're both smart.
Wes has lots of good, successful foreign policy experience and military experience. Both of these are areas where we have a lot of repair to do since they're both broken.
John Edwards inspires me and focuses on what we can do that's good and just and true to America. Every time I listened to him I'm inspired.
Either one would be great as VP or in a cabinet position.
