Bush video 2 minutes before addressing the nation as we went to war!
Video below....

Got this from the KOS who quotes Frank Rich:

"But why should we hear about body bags, and deaths, and how many, what day it's gonna happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it's, it's not relevant. So why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that? And watch him suffer." - Barbara Bush on "Good Morning America," March 18, 2003.

She needn't have worried. Her son wasn't suffering. In one of the several pieces of startling video exhibited for the first time in Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11," we catch a candid glimpse of President George Bush about 36 hours after his mother's breakfast TV interview - minutes before he makes his own prime-time TV address to take the nation to war in Iraq. He is sitting at his desk in the Oval Office. A makeup woman is doing his face. And Bush is having a high old time. He darts his eyes about and grins, as if he were playing a peek-a-boo game with someone just off-camera. He could be a teenager goofing with his buds to relieve the passing tedium of a haircut.

"In your wildest dreams you couldn't imagine Franklin Roosevelt behaving this way 30 seconds before declaring war, with grave decisions and their consequences at stake," said Moore in an interview before his new documentary's premiere at Cannes last Monday. "But that may be giving him credit for thinking that the decisions were grave."

13. Nope. That's where he was caught as the bombs began to fall
Some TV monitor captured him, pumping his fist, saying, "Feels good!" while the bombing of Baghdad started.

Children screaming as they're dying. Yeah, feels good.

I don't think anyone kept that film. If they did, it's worth a mint right now.

3. His psyche is so twisted
that he cannot locate the slightest morsel of humanity within his soul.

4. Thanks for posting this. I expected him to make shadow puppets...
or yuck it up with more "Those WMD's must be here somewhere" jokes. A total disconnect between the gravity of what he was about to do and its consequences.

6. yah know. . .yesterday evening . . .
I was on the road and out of range of any NPR stations, so I did as I sometimes do when in a pinch and tuned into Laura Ingraham. She was totally annoyed that anyone would criticize Pres. Bush during war time and went on to say how no patriotic american would ever criticize a president during wartime. I screamed back at the radio to no avail. . ."He's the only wartime president that actually started a pre-emptive war without a clue."
Then I arrived back within NPR range and felt better.

7. The clip wasn't much of him...Chinese?? then German words
heard a few seconds of him... but not anything behind the scenes like I thought it would be.

I watched the original grooming bit..(Bush Groomed) live when it happened and couldn't believe my eyes. It was priceless. I thought this was it.

8. Moore said he was editing the film right up until the last minute...
It would be good if he could get a clear version (in english) of this clip to play in his film. I'm sure he would love it.

16. not exactly new
A popular, albeit not especially good, German politic journalism show. That particular part is from the April 8th 2003 show. To be exact it is the satirical "toll" segment of the show.

Oh: and a link with Real and Windows Media streaming can be found here:
