The Irony Of Michael Moore Winning Cannes
While America is in Iraq supposedly fighting for the freedom of Iraqis, France with their most prestigious film award is fighting for the freedom of Americans to view a film critical of their government.

2. Sort of true
except that about half of the jurors, including the President of the Jury, Quentin Tarantino, are actually Americans. And there's no way that this movie won't be released even if it isn't by that moron Eisner.

3. I can't wait to see
How they're going to deal with this at the Oscars! I mean, it's going to be nominated for Best Documentary at the very least...
Which means at the very least they have to show a little clip during the telecast...LOL...
It might even give Moore back-to-back Oscars! It'll be fun see what happens, that's for sure.

That will be well after the election that the Oscars for 2004 movies takes place.

If there is a President Kerry, it will be no big deal.

If Bush is still in that office, then there will be an Oscars controversy.

4. remember . . . Disney still has to agree to sell the rights . . .
I imagine they'll be getting heavy pressure from the shrub and brother jeb not to . . . could get nasty, but I think they'd rather take the flak than have people see the film before the election . . .
