1. wow, good question
However, seeing as how the new government will be a bunch of US friends appointed by Bush...he ain't gonna be pardoned.

2. No. He's old. His power is broken. He has no one he can trust.
And he hasn't been lucid all the time. He may be having mini strokes.

Saddam is a zero factor. He lost.

Younger men are now going to fight for the rulership of Iraq, or however much of it they can grab.

Stop thinking in terms of the bogeymen Bush has presented to you. Bush lies.

5. That doesn't sound like something to take seriously
Bush wants to hang him. Of course, he may not have much to say about it.

The Kurds have good reason to want to hang him.

The Shias have almost as good reason as the Kurds to want to hang him.

Some Sunnis did okay while he was in power. Others have good reason to want to hang him.

He doesn't have too many friends in Iraq and none outside.

6. Substitute Bush* in your last statement!
"He doesn't have too many friends in Iraq and none outside." And we have a winner!

8. Well, the two states don't necessarily contradict each other, do they?

7. no
Pardoned? Me no think so.
The constitution will likely include something about former dictators not being able to participate in government...
