Preserve your part in history
....
With the advent of America's mission in Iraq, V Corps Soldiers, civilian employees and family members became part of history. But even memories of history can fade.
"THE MEMORY PROJECT" is an attempt to capture some of that history and imprint it before it fades from memory. It's also a venue where the V Corps community can share the myriad small -- and perhaps not-so-small -- things they've learned as a result of their involvement with Operation Iraqi Freedom.
You might have an enlightening, noteworthy, moving or even amusing anecdote to relate. Perhaps you learned something "downrange" that could make the life of a deployed Soldier or civilian's better or safer. It's possible that you found a good way of dealing with the physical or emotional affairs of life on the "home front" that could ease deployment for someone else. Maybe you have photographs or video images of V Corps members at work or play in Southwest Asia. It could be helpful, and it's all history. THE MEMORY PROJECT is a way to share your part in that history.
