1. I'm waiting for both shrub AND Kerry to drop out |
|
I don't think Kerry ever wanted to run. Shrub will go, citing health concerns. Then Wesley Clark wins for the Dems!
Ok, so this is what one psychic says, but I like it. (Well, the first part about Kerry not wanting to run is astrological in nature, since he announced his candidacy during mercury retrograde and moon void of course).

Never punch a cripple. I did the psychic phone scam ,I was fired when I couldn't beat $12 a min. I tried ,but Mercury was blowing Saturn and it just couldn't work.

it will be interesting to see how the powers that be choose to clear Bush from the picture.
on edit: it would be interesting if they ran his father again.

3. McCain. He'll be packaged as a Teddy Roosevelt type |
|
reformer. Wouldn't surprise me if McCain chose Lieberman as his running mate either.

8. Intersting conjecture. |
|
McCain would be a strong Repub candidate, however, he is an independent cuss, and I don't think Murder, Inc. would run anyone they couldn't control.

Liddy Dole
Remember, months ago, somebody pointed out that the Repukes keep throwing the same old ideas out at the populace.
Bob Dole (VP for Ford, right? 1976; Pres 1996) (Liddy tried for 2000) George H. W. Bush (VP for Reagan 1980, 1984, then Pres. 1988, 1992) George W. Bush (pRes 2000)

9. You're right. There has been a Bush or a Dole on every |
|
R ticket since 1976. This could conceivably continue for a long time into the future with E. Dole or Jeb Bush taking over in 2008.

10. I'm talking THIS cycle... |

Implying Bush will fold, one way or another.
The grimness of it all is sinking in.
The perennial GOP mask of happiness is melting in the rain.

17. Well, if Boosh can't finish the term, it goes to Cheney and |
|
if he can't, then it goes to the Speaker of the House, Dennis Hastert. So since Cheney wouldn't run for President, it seems he would run against Hastert, unless the RNC names someone else as Republican presidential candidate to run against Kerry.
Many DU'ers have expressed the sentiment that their gut tells them W* won't finish his term.If they are right, the so-called bicycle and other falling accidents seems to indicate that there is something wrong going on there. The pretzel, bicycle excuses are cover-ups.
