Terrorist Attack an "attempt to affect outcome of election" - Ack!!!
They floated this before, and it made me crazy. Now they're *really* going at it -- even Larry King just said it to Tom Brokaw! "Terrorist attacks designed to affect the election..."

What is the meaning of that? They don't say WHO these terrorists want to have in office, but it's clear every time they compare it to the Madrid attacks: they supposedly want the Bushies out, because those Big Bad Bushies reeeeeally have them askeeeered... And Mr. Peacenik Appeaser Kerry won't go after them, because he's "weak on national security."

Ergo, a vote for Kerry is a vote for the Terrorists. That's where they're going with this. Grrrr...

1. Its really too bad the mainstream press didn't pick up on
that quote that has been going around that showed the "Terrorists" support the Bush administration. Are we really ready to have LIHOP Part II dropped in our laps?

2. Condi, Anzar, and a "high-up gov't. official" already more or less
PROMISED a terra attack shortly before the elections. They'll say "Don't let the terrorists affect the election: vote Bush!" Jeb Bush's already joking that San Franciscans are an "endangered species." The Bl. St. Newsom can't save the city from the MIHOP machine.

5. Who are these "sources" saying it?

There also is concern terrorists might try to mount an attack to coincide with the November election. The political fallout from the March 11 train bombings in Spain taught al-Qaida that an attack timed to an election can have a major impact. Spain's former ruling party was ousted in the voting that followed the bombing...

"There also is concern..." From who? Unnamed "officials." That's why this is to hard to counter. Surely these are GOPers expressing such "concern." No evidence, no "intel," no quotes, no named sources... Just a nice campaign bombshell to throw out there.

3. The thing that really pisses me off about this
Most of spain was pissed off allready that they were involved in this Iraq fiasco at all it was highly likely that the election results would have been the same with or withought the train bombing. The idea that it changed the election results is bogus to begin with yet the mainstream american publics memory is so short they get away with this propaganda and instead use it to influence our election.

4. that's why it would be great if AL Jazeera had an osama tape endorsing
Bush. He could say "Praise be Allah. Mr. BUsh is our ticket to world domination. May he live long and have a prosperous many terms thanks to GOP congress and Diebold voting....oh yes. And death to America."

8. Ummm, they did... "WE WANT BUSH TO WIN: "
....

The statement said it supported U.S. President Bush in his reelection campaign, and would prefer him to win in November rather than the Democratic candidate John Kerry, as it was not possible to find a leader "more foolish than you (Bush), who deals with matters by force rather than with wisdom."

In comments addressed to Bush, the group said:

"Kerry will kill our nation while it sleeps because he and the Democrats have the cunning to embellish blasphemy and present it to the Arab and Muslim nation as civilization."

"Because of this we desire you (Bush) to be elected."

6. I've learned to be calm and have actually started enjoying watching
their machinations. Every single thing they do backfires on them.

I knew when he staged that stupid aircraft landing shit, that it would backfire on him. I was deliciously thinking, wow, all the commercials and ads we'll be able to make out of that. I don't understand why the democratic party hasn't rubbed this video in his face.

I knew when they toppled that stupid statue in Baghdad, when they set their convention at Ground Zero, when they sold that picture of Bush hiding in air force one on 9-11, ... I could go and on. It always backfires.

I mean really. What has this guy ever succeeded in doing in his life?
Sure, it pisses one off, but it will wind up biting his ass in the end. I think subconsciouslessly, people laid Nick Berg's beheading
on Bush. A clear sign to me that the tide has turned. From now on, everything bad happening over there is gonna be laid at Bush's doorstep. He thinks he can pull the wool over everybody's eyes with this turn-over of power on June 30, but our soldiers will still be there getting blown up and dying.

If an attack happens here, I don't think it would help Bush, it would be another thing laid at his door. The only possible reason for an attack, would be to justify martial law.

I sincerely hope this is not the plan. I say so because I continue to note how confident they are that Bush is going to win.

7. That's it!
"Americans react to terror attack and reelect Bush in a landslide." That's the justification they'll use when BBV gives Shrub the election when his poll reelect numbers are single digits.

9. You know what. I think you got something there. THAT's how they
think they're going to do it. Boy that makes a lot of sense. That's how they're going to explain the theft of votes.
