2. Letterman is one of Kerry's secret weapons. He hates *.
Last night he slammed him repeatedly.

6. I couldn't believe CNN would read lies from the WH, or make up their own
just to defuse that innocent bit. It really pulled back the curtain in some ways.

8. Stunning, but not stunning. I mean, if there were a REAL source of news...
...in America, that would have been the cover, headline, lead story for a month -- "CNN tells lies to protect Bush."

But we know we don't have a real media, and most of us know that they tell lies 24/7. They could hardly stop themselves from telling one more about their onw -- Letterman.

9. I use 'couldn't believe' as a reflex expression in this case
As is the case with most DUers, I could believe it. But that they would break out the damage control for such a stupid little thing is pretty pathetic--my taxes are going to someone on the WH staff who scans talk shows for actionable material.

10. It's also amazing that those talking heads had no problem reading copy
put in front of their empty little heads which was so patently absurd.

It just totaly destroys the credibility of the "news media" in this country.

A college class in some country where peopel are intelligent will look at a tape of that in about 15 years and they will laugh their asses off at how stupid it was, and they'll understand why America is a banana republic (that's if Kerry doesn't win).

strike me as too worried about their credibility these days.
