Franken's Limbaugh impersonation.

I've never listened to Limbaugh's show so I had no idea what he sounded like. Now that we've been blessed with AirAmerica I've heard Franken impersonate Limbaugh on numerous occasions. The only time I hear Limbaugh himself is when Franken plays snippets from his show during the "dittohead" segment. What's amazing is that Limbaugh actually sounds like the bloviating caricature that Franken makes him out to be. I actually thought that Franken was probably overdoing it but then I heard Limbaugh and realized that the freak actually sounds like that. Amazing.

I've always thought the same thing about Limbaugh. His speech is so over the top, it seems almost like he's doing performance art.

If I had to come up with a voice for the cigar-puffing fat men in top hats from the old 1800's political cartoons, it'd be Limbaugh's. He's cartoonish.
