They still don't get it.
"The new British-drafted Security Council resolution is a sham.
Under cover of a "transfer of sovereignty", it seeks to have the
United Nations give the United States legal authority to continue
the occupation indefinitely."

The presence of the troops is,and will continue to be, a major
factor in the unrest in Iraq. Bush and Blair tried it on, they've
been exposed, thousands have died, but they continue on their
mad course.

We are not wanted in Iraq. What part of that statement can't they
understand?

1. while I think this is all do to with $ and power
and therefore they don't care that we're not wanted - I also think a hell of a lot of westerners can not grasp that large parts of teh world do not see our "culture" as the best one there is and maybe prefer doing things their own way. That other people could not want to do things "our" way just hasn't made it through their tiny minds yet.

3. But the price just isn't worth it.
All those dead, and the hatred it's sowing, which we may be paying
for over decades to come. It's not as if the oil's not for sale -
it really isn't necessary to control it, and the ME as well.

I'm beginning to feel so weary and disheartened with all the lies,
and it amazes me that there are still people falling for it. I
guess some are so idealogically drive they just can't see straight.
