5. I like Laura Bush

to tell the truth, I feel bad for her. She's actually a nice average person. I feel bad that she has to go stump for that dumb-ass when she's obviously smarter than him. I bet she'd make a better president than he would, because I think she's actually got some guts when it comes right down to it. I just hate the way they USE HER to forward their gains. But what else can she do? I mean, she's hamstrung being married to a dead-weight in the White House. Would you expect anything less from a wife than to support her husband? I mean, honestly I bet W's just an average guy too...but that's the point. We don't need average people in the White House. He wasn't a good businessman, good student, good anything really. We need exceptional people in the White House. People with a plan, who are great at the jobs we elect them to do, who go the extra mile. That's their job. And he wasn't ever, and isn't up to it. And he knows that deep down, and I think that's what fucks his head up. He's got to prove he's better than Daddy, and that's what gets us into these awful political situations. We don't need that in the White House. But don't blame Laura Bush. She just loved your average drunk, coke-head, frat boy, businessman in college. And she's smarter than him. Probably felt a little sorry for him. She's just been played by that family from day one.
