Bush plans on cutting $1.5 billion from the department of education. He plans on cutting head start, and cutting more benefits for the veterans. All if he is re-elected!
Plus, the average millionaire would receive a $52,000 tax break. This does not make any since.
He cannot get re-elected!

complain at how badly their kids are educated, yet don't want to pay taxes to support the school system. (Never mind how freaked out they are that teachers make a princely sum of *gasp* $25,000-$55,000 per year to take care of their lil darlings.)
I wish I had a copy of the editorial cartoon that was floating around the school I did my student teaching in. Featured a big ol' fatcat politican telling a teacher he wanted to cut her pay. So she offered to get paid the standard babysitter's wage. The Senator got a crafty look on his face and rubbed his hands with greed over that, right up until she said "per child" and submitted a bill for $100,000+. *lol*

3. We've been calling it "No teacher left standing" but that one is good too. |
