Voldemort is kind of the main villain in the Harry Potter books. Dark evil wizard who uses any means necessary to gain power and all that. Dick Cheney == Voldemort, I think.

5. Well...
I wouldn't put the Potter books above, say, "Dude, Where's My Country?" or the Richard Clarke book, or Bob Woodward's latest. But definitely worth a read. Very good stuff.

6. Actually I've picked it up
several times just to "escape" for awhile, but I always put it down and end up back in the political books. I do think JK Rawling is an awesome author though!

7. Hmmm, it could be a political book
1) It got a lot of kids to read (unlike NCLB).
2) Religious wackos wanted it banned because it was about witchcraft.
3) It has classic overtures of the dispossesed overcoming unbelievable evil associated with wealth and privilege.
