Rush must absolutely HATE Franken... |
|
...Al just did a live bit on Bush''s flip-flops that was absolutely hi-larious! A 2 1/2 minute bit that was funnier than Limbaugh's entire show WHILE hammering home a point. I cant even describe the bit other than to say that it was sublime, witty, goofy, pointed and timed to perfection! You might wanna listen for the rebroadcast tonight at 11 p.m. . It's in the first five minutes of the show.
Try not to drink anything while you're listening to it. :)

You can't compliment Franken on DU....he's too NICE and reasonable for most of the folks here.
But, of course, Al doesn't know radio.
</sarcasm>
I heard the flip/flop bit - it was good.

Get over it.
I like Franken's show all right. He doesn't froth at the mouth and actually listens to callers and guests.

5. I wouldn't call it an insult.... there HAS been a lot of Franken-bashing |
|
here. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it did get to be pretty tiring for a while. So did the Randi Rhodes bashing. I happen to like both their styles.

You don't have to be mean. You just have to be entertaining!

6. Anyone remember the Daily Show's Bush vs. Bush bit? |
|
They played statements made by Bush when he was Governor and then played statements made by Bush after he was (s)elected -- as if Bush was having a debate with himself. It was beautiful.

8. The "Bush vs. Bush" Daily Show bits... |
|
...were brilliant. The kicker would be the "Holy Sh*t", "What the f*ck" and "Yep...the f*cker said it", mouth agape looks Stewart would have on his face on the cutaways to him after these remarks were played. Those looks and Conan O' Brian's "Okay, we-crossed-a-line-and-I-feel-sick-about-it " look are perhaps the funniest non-verbal comedy on television today.
