"At least Bush did what he said he was going to do..." I must've missed that. When did he say he was going to ruin our country?
"We just lost the war on terrorism..." No, we lost the moment we invaded Iraq under false pretenses and created far more terrorists than there were before.
"I guess the liberals are happy they get to pay more taxes..." No, but we ARE happy that we'll have jobs to pay taxes with.
"I feel real good now that Kerry will be getting his advice from Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand..." You should. It's better than Halliburton and Enron!

I have a couple of co-workers, but even they are prettty sour on Bush, so I wouldn't gloat.
If I did have any Bush-lover friends I would probably gloat and pretend that Kerry is going to do all the "evil liberal" things they think he's going to do (raise taxes, wreck the economy, etc.)

"At least Bush did what he said he was going to do..." Yes but did he ever mean what he said? Iraq=terror, WMD, Medicare bill "We just lost the war on terrorism..." We lost it when we invaded Iraq and let Afghanistan go back to the Taliban "I guess the liberals are happy they get to pay more taxes..." Only the liberals making millions of dollars a year. I happy that corporations will get to pay their fair share. "I feel real good now that Kerry will be getting his advice from Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand..." Better than Ken Lay (enron president)
oh and in case they don't give me any smart ass comments I'll start with "na na na la la la!"

"At least Bush did what he said he was going to do..." (Where’s Osama? Did Bush catch Osama like he said he was going to. Why aren't you supporting Kerry you terrorist lover?)
"We just lost the war on terrorism..." (Our elected President John Kerry standing tall. Let's roll! By the way how long have you been a member of al Queda?)
"I guess the liberals are happy they get to pay more taxes..." (I guess the neocons are pissed because now they have to pay for Bush’s wild spending and corrupt war profiteering. How long have you been an America Hater?)
"I feel real good now that Kerry will be getting his advice from Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand..." (So do I. No more Christian fundies and Israeli agents feeding us a road map to Armageddon.)

I would like to think anyone else could do better also, but as for Kerry and any other politician right now, I unfortunately believe they are all controlled by money and have no idea what the real world is like.

We will be gentlemen and ladies about the whole election. We do have faith and hope that our side will win but we know nothing is written in stone. However, if we do win, we will be diplomatic and civil in our victory. I'm sure that would tee them off even more. :)

30. Let's win this damn thing first and THEN talk about |
|
how we ARE consoling them, rather than how we WILL. Two months ago I would have bet anything I owned on a Kerry victory, and now I see a 50-50 race.
It is inconceivable that with all of Bush's fuckups, he's still in this - but he is. Kerry's not gaining. I, like many, looked at the Abu Ghraib mess with the hope that a Kerry bump would at least be the silver lining, and we didn't get it. I just hope no one gets too confident here.

"At least Bush did what he said he was going to do..." Exactly. He ruined the economy, skimmed billions off the top of the fed budget and handed it to all his wealthy buddies in the form of tax cuts, no bid contracts, and shameless war profiteering, and reduced our once powerful stock market to a shambles of it's former self, so that his pals could take those huge tax cuts, and buy companies for pennies on the dollar, and sell them off piece by piece.
"We just lost the war on terrorism..." We lost the war on terrorism, when Bush refused to go after the real cause, which were wealthy Saudi oil sheiks that used their money to finance the terrorist training camps, and decided to steal the oil in Iraq for his dad instead. Bush continues to do business with the very people who financed the terrorist attacks on the U.S. to this day, and to me, is no better than those people who flew the airplanes into the WTC.
"I guess the liberals are happy they get to pay more taxes..." We are paying more taxes now. I did not see a whole lot of that tax break, and I make a decent amount of money, own properties, and have three sources of income. I probably personally pay more taxes than most, and I STILL did not make enough money to catch a real break this year. Hell, my property taxes went UP for Jeebus sake.
"I feel real good now that Kerry will be getting his advice from Jane Fonda and Barbara Streisand..." Yawn. Listen to Rush or Hannity much?
