1. No. . .
. . .they are not doing a good job of managing their company, which means they would be a very unattractive IPO.

2. Would Shell investing be a good idea? I am nervous already
hearing commercials from them and Murdoch (direct TV), or ABC.... How do you protect from a takeover? remember, there was a time when CNN was actually a news channel....sigh...

3. I know you mean well, but
the day AAR goes public is the day they die. Do you really want a board of directors and major shareholders making AAR's programming decisions? Clear channel would attempt hostile takeovers on a weekly basis.

Bad idea.. At least until it's been on the air for a few years.

of keeping things honest in the liberal tradition & not wanting to control content.

:eyes:

i wouldn't be comfortable opening it up to the public & giving up control to the people with the most money. would you?

5. Subscriptions Would Be An Idea... Is Membership Possible?
I'd buy a low-level membership.

8. Usually you need earnings 1st . . . .
I have a feeling your local 7-11 makes more $ than Air America . . . If things are so bad that they can't even pay Franken, the numbers cant look that good
