The next time somebody makes fun of Al Gore's speech |
|
Gore called for multiple resignations, and a week later we got one: Tenet. His demands don't seem so wacky anymore.
And I give Rumsfeld about a 50/50 chance of making it to election day. The Pentagon made a big mistake in not just dumping all Abu Grhaib abuse photos to the media, taking their medicine and getting it out of the way. Instead, there will be a persistent drip drip of new photos that will wear on Rumsfeld.

2. That's how Clinton got into trouble. |

Rather than coming clean, he tried to keep things under the rug.
I was more upset with guys like Hannity talking about his shrieking and shrill voice - to me it sounded no different than an evangelist making his point.
Listening to Gore speak the other night was a real treat. After four years of Bush and Rumsfeld and even Kerry's droning monotonous voice, Gore makes you want to listen to politicians - too bad he didn't act like that when he ran in 2000.
